Request a Performance:


                             

You can request a performance by using the detailed Online Request Form  or simply by contacting us by phone at # (314) 432-4218.  Please notify us at least one month in advance.  You may still request a performance with shorter notice, but it stands a greater chance of that date being pre-booked.  Response times may vary depending on the request.  We will need a few days to determine our Troupe Members availability.  Once we determine that we will have enough Members to fulfill your request; we will send you a Quote for your review.  After the Quote has been accepetd; we will send you a performance confirmation and invoice.  Most performance confirmations will be provided no later than 15 days prior to the performance date.  If you need to have a confirmation sooner, please indicate at the time of your request.

                           

SPECIAL NOTE:  "Chinese New Year" is an extremely busy time for our Troupe.  There are only fifteen (15) days of celebration and the closing "Lantern Festival" on the final day.  Each year our Troupe becomes busier than the prior year.  Our Troupe is in such high demand that we find ourselves performing "Lion Dances" daily from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm nearly everyday of the "Spring Festival".  The highest requests for performances are for the first day (Lunar New Year Day) and for the final day (Lantern Festival) of "Chinese New Year".  Therefore, reserve your "Lion Dance" performance early!  We are so busy with our performances during this season, that at times, we do not have the time to update our 'Current Schedule' on this site.  It is extremely rare that we have last minute cancellations.  So do not be afraid to ask for a performance at the last minute.  However, it is not so rare that we also have last minute performances to do.  The "Shaolin Lohan School of Kung Fu" and the "Huangse' Gebei Xi'Tong" holds an annual full-day celebration on either the first or last Saturday of the "Spring Festival".  This is an event that requires the attendance of the "Shaolin Lohan Pai Lion Dance Troupe".  Just keep all of that in mind and we will try to "Move Heaven and Earth" to accommodate your needs.



Post Discount Performances Packages (Not applicable to Non-Holiday Weekday Performances):

A "Basic Package" or "Lion's Blessing" is normally done for Grand Openings, Lunar New Year Blessings (stores, restaurants, etc.), Birthday Parties, Tournaments, etc.  This performance can last 10 minutes in duration.


A "Wedding Package" has been specifically designed for Weddings.  The marriage of two people is a special occasion and you want this to be as special as possible.  Having a Lion bless the couple and honor the parents of both parties is truly a sight worth seeing.  We can perform for both Traditional and Modern weddings.  During the Lion's Blessing; the couple will receive a gift in the form of a Scroll or Kissing Fish Token to commemorate the "Guardian's Blessing"!  The Lion will also include your guests in this promise to protect the couple by involving themselves and being acknowledged by the Lion.  This will be an incredible addition to any Wedding Ceremony and/or Reception.  This performance can last as long as you wish and has no set duration (to be determined at the time of the Quote).

 

A "Standard Package" or full "Lion Dance" is typically used for Cultural Festivals, "First Night" (New Year) Celebrations, Sport Competitions (Half-Time Shows), etc.  This is a more detailed performance with an additional Lion, props and acrobatics.  This performance can last 20 minutes in duration or longer.

 

A "Premium Package" is a full set of "Lion Dances" with 3 x Lions and a "Shaolin Kung Fu" demonstration!  This is an exciting and informative performance.  You will witness acrobatics, weapons demonstrations and more!  You can substitute the “Shaolin Kung Fu” demonstration for an additional Lion Dance (Peking, Cantonese or Taiwan Lion).  This is the best value lasting 30 minutes.  An incredible show!


A "Showcase Package" is a complete "Dragon Dance" with "Lion Dance" which includes 1 x Dragon, 2 x Lions, 1 x Dai-Tou-Fut (Big Head Buddha) and a complete Percussion Team!  It will also include a "Shaolin Kung Fu" demonstration to help you and your guests to understand how much training and dedication is necessary to perform this rare style of dancing.  This will include nearly 20 x Performers to accomplish and requires a minimum of 30 x Days booking in advance.  If you are looking for something that will entertain and educate your quests in the exciting and rare Arts of China; then this is the package for you!  You will witness acrobatics, weapons demonstrations and more!  You can substitute the “Shaolin Kung Fu” demonstration for an additional Lion Dance (Peking, Cantonese or Taiwan Lion).    This performance can last as long as you wish and has no set duration (to be determined at the time of the Quote).  This is a truly "Awe Inspiring" show!

 

A "Parade Package" is a program designed with the idea that there will be an incredible amount of interaction with parade spectators.  The "Lions" that are used are extremely expensive to purchase and maintain.  These "Lions" have a tendency of becoming damaged in this type of environment.  Coordinating the logistics of such an event can be tiring.  The "Lions" are constantly moving and performing.  Exhausting work!  Therefore, the "Shaolin Lohan Pai Lion Dance Troupe" has designed an exciting turn of events specifically designed for parades.  You will see anywhere from three (3) to twelve (12) "Lions", based on request, in use at any given time.  You will see 'Troupe members' switching from "Lion" to "Lion" without skipping a beat!  A truly exciting and inspiring spectacle!



Celebrate with a Bang!

                          

Start your celebration on the right foot! We do performances for Weddings, Birthday Parties, New Year, Lunar New Year Celebrations, etc.  If you have the 'fireworks' permit... we will include that in our already exciting performances.  We are always ready to make a lot of noise!  If you would like us to acquire the fireworks; please indicate the type and amount with your ‘Performance Request’.  We have the experience to ensure the safety of your property and guests.  Children love it!  Prices will vary based on fireworks requests.



Prices:

Our prices can vary due to travel, timing, availability, etc.  There are so many variables involved with calculating the cost of a performance that we choose to deal with each request individually.  There are many discounts (New Client, Non-Profit, Multiple Performance, etc.) available and we will always do our best to make the compensation part of our relationship as painless as possible.
